These types of changes involve more than just the behavior one wants to make. I gave an example in my video above. This is not just about losing weight & being healthier. In order to achieve these goals, I have had to overcome mental & emotional hurdles. This has taken several years. It is really interesting & encouraging to see the growth I have gone through & the progress I have made.
I thought participating in STEPtember would boost my weight loss, but this week I only lost a pound. Don't get me wrong- I'm glad I lost another pound, I just thought I would lose more with all of this extra activity. I'm pretty sure it's because I ate bread this week. I didn't eat a lot, but it is the first time I have really eaten bread since I started this whole new lifestyle. You will recall that I started out with Keto for two weeks. After eating bread this week and not losing much weight, I really don't think bread meshes well with my system. Such a shame- I love bread LOL.
That's all right. I didn't really miss it much, I just thought I would mix it up a little this week. Bread is out again. It will be interesting to see if this makes a difference with my STEPtember activity. I have been posting videos of some of my walks. I am hoping it will encourage people to donate to help pay for medicine, treatment, and equipment like wheelchairs for people with Cerebral Palsy.
